Main goal of the Health sector is to improve survivors' health related quality of life through the increased access to quality service in health and rehabilitation but also through the improved knowledge about self care and increased awareness of survivors on their social functioning and emotional stability and wellbeing.

Economic Opportunities

Sector of Economic Opportunities aims to increase economic sufficiency of survivors, their families and communities through the improvement of employment and self employment opportunities; awareness raising on skills and capacities of survivors but also through the capacity/skill building and improved access to financial resources for survivors.

Social Empowerment

In Social Empowerment sector, LSI aims to improve social and civic participation of survivors through the increased knowledge of survivors about rights and improved skills in advocacy but also through the awareness raising campaigns on rights and capacities of persons with disabilities in general. LSI works with individuals, organizations and system to encourage positive changes on local, regional and international level. Advocacy work is closely linked and intertwined with other two programmatic sectors of LSI’s work. It promotes, among other, non-discrimination and equal access to health and economic opportunity services for survivors.
